Alexander “Zandy” Campbell, III

Co-Founder & Principal, CEO

Zandy Campbell was born July 29, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended high school at Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Virginia and pursued his bachelor’s degree at Washington and Lee University and Transylvania University, respectively. After graduating from college, Zandy decided he wanted to be a trusted fiduciary and investment advisor like his father, Alex G. Campbell, Jr. In fact, some of Zandy’s earliest memories were of his father helping people protect their inheritance or sale proceeds from land or cattle. Zandy’ s father was a well-known investor who had made his mark by owning great companies. In the process, his father was also known for using his investment talents to help all those around him. In 1985, Zandy started his career by working as a Registered Representative at Alex. Brown and Sons, Inc. He worked there for the better part of 15 years and was fortunate to meet his other founding partner, Mark Scott. Following a series of mergers with other corporate firms, Zandy and Mark decided to launch a more client-oriented firm. They wanted to create a firm where the client’s financial interests were always first. Zandy’ s goal was to create a company that his father would be proud to call his own.

Zandy is a Registered Investment Advisor and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.  He also maintains a life and health insurance license.   He has held several securities licenses including the Series 3,7,31, 63, and 65.  Zandy has been active in and supports several not-for-profit organizations including the Keeneland Club Association, Triangle Community Foundation, St. Thomas’ Church (Garrison, Maryland), and the Mansion House Association (Naples, Florida).
