Baltimore, Maryland, January 1, 2022 – A.G. Campbell Advisory, LLC is pleased to announce that Betsy B. Brennen, CFP®, AIF® has joined the investment advisory firm as a Principal and head of the firm’s Family Office and Financial Planning practice.
Betsy has held various sales, marketing, and management positions in the financial services industry for over 30 years. In her 15-year tenure with Deutsche Bank (formerly Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc.) she had several responsibilities including insurance, annuity, and mutual fund sales, and she served as Head of Marketing. By 2004, Betsy was Managing Director and Head of Professional Development for Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management US. In June 2009, Betsy and former colleagues from Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. founded Harbor Investment Advisory, LLC, a broker-dealer and registered investment advisory firm. She retired from Harbor in 2019 and in 2020, Betsy founded EBB Consulting, where she has provided business consulting services to Registered Investment Advisors.
Betsy holds the Certified Financial Planner ™ and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designations, and she has held several securities licenses including the Series 6, 7, 22, 24, 53, 63, 79 and 99. In 2004, Betsy completed the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania. Betsy was a member and Chair of the FINRA Small Firm Advisory Board from 2013 to 2016. She currently serves on the Hood College Board of Trustees, is former Chair of the Finance Committee, and is current Chair of the Investment Committee.
